Out of the 20 Hospital level of care rooms, only 3 do not have an ensuite bathroom and 2 share an ensuite. The remaining 15 rooms have their own ensuite bathroom, and these rooms vary in size from standard to deluxe.
As Residents requiring hospital level of care have greater needs, this section of our facility is more highly staffed by fully qualified & experienced RNs, Team Leaders, and Health Care Assistants 24/7. For the improved safety of staff and wellbeing of the Residents, we installed 3 overhead hoists, and systematically plan to install more of these overhead hoists.
The Hospital Lounge is light and airy and has its own flat screen smart TV and sound bar so Residents can enjoy this.
When we have external entertainers in the main lounge, some of our Dementia Residents are taken across to the main lounge where they can participate and enjoy in this activity.
